State Chairman Position Information

The Constitution Party of North Carolina is required to have a State Chairman by the Party's bylaws who will be the CEO of the Party, who will call for and preside over all meetings of the State Party, observe and enforce the Rules and Bylaws of the Party, appoint necessary staff members and all standing committees, be an ex officio member of all committees and act as necessary to promote the functions of the Party.

Experience and Information:

The following is a list of my experience for the position of Chair. Served on numerous boards and committees in my private and professional life.One of the original founders of the C.P.N.C. under the current organizational structure. One of the primary organizers of the first three (3) State conventions including establishing the agendas and setting the itinerary. One of the three original authors of the current organization by-laws and platform. Developed the ceremony for the Swearing in of Officers & directors.Developed the oath for officers and the membership pledge as well as developing the membership levels & requirements. One of two developers of the current party organizational structure including the regional break downs. Negotiated the purchasing of the internet domain names for the web site from the previously registered owner. Worked on the purchasing of numerous other domain names in order to protect the organization on the internet.Worked on researching and purchasing the current State party phone system, bank account, mailing address and assisted on the web site through the web site committee.One of the original designers of the following emblems, State party logo, Executive committee Emblem, letter head logo. Developed the following organizational forms: Property Control form to maintain a record of all Party Property, Purchased and designed notebooks for S.E.C. members,Developed the itinerary template for easy use by directors for meetings, Developed the State Treasures Report form, Developed the State Secretary Template for recording meeting minutes, Event recording form to assist directors and those holding events for their accreditation records Event sign in sheet,Developed the Party organizational flow chart. The Nomination for candidates for party office forms,Candidates Acceptance forms,The convention election forms County accreditation forms. Developed the procedures for the following areas: Convention Registration Procedures, convention Election procedure, One of three(3) persons that developed the County Accreditation process,Developed the procedures for the State party to approve party signs, literature, and other advertisements in order to improve quality control of Party material. Assisted in the development of the convention Rules, Bylaws and platform procedures. I have chaired all of the SEC meetings and other committees. I have attended numerous events and group meetings to promote the CPNC. I have done numerous T.V, radio and newspaper interviews to promote and explain the philosophy of this Party.I am a graduate of Western Carolina University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. I have been a Police Officer for twenty (20) years. I am the husband of only one wife and father of three (3).

Why I Am Seeking Office:

I am seeking this position because I believe in following through in things that I start. I believe this organization is getting established in order to seriously challenge the other political organizations in this State. The organization has a long way to go and as an organization it still needs to have many administrative procedures to be put in place. We have many future plans for the organization and I feel that I can get those things accomplished. This organization has established the Seven Essential Core Values that are the center piece of who we are and what we stand for. Those values need to be protected or this organization will quickly loose it's identity and focus. I have taken an oath and I am prepared to protect,defend and promote those values. I believe that North Carolina and America are at a crossroads. We as a people will decide through our actions what direction we will go. We can either force the governments to get back into the restraints of the Constitutions or we can choose to be apathetic and compliant and become slaves to it as our cruel task master. The Constitution Party of North Carolina is for the former. I hope that you will join this fight. Freedom is not free and it comes at a price and make no mistake about it we are in a fight.

State Treasurer Position Information

The Constitution Party of North Carolina is required to have a State Treasurer both by the Party's bylaws and by the Campaign Finance Laws of the State of North Carolina. According to the bylaws the State Treasurer has the duties of keeping the financial records of the Party, ensuring that the Party fulfills all federal, state and local campaign finance requirements where applicable and issue all checks and payments at the direction of the State Chairman in payment of all Party obligations. The State Treasurer must have obtained State Certification as required by NC State Law to officially take on the duties of the Treasurership and is responsible for ensuring that all regions, counties, precinct and other Party organizations under the State Party are not in violation of the State Campaign Finance law, updating the Party's Campaign Finance Manual and advising the State Executive Committee and other Party organizations in finanicial matters as well as voting on Party business.

Education--BSBA and MBA, both with finance concentrations. Ran own computer consulting business for 7 years, have been in banking now for over 4 years as both a commercial lender and now asset manager, currently with roughly $50 million under management.

Why I Am Seeking Office:

I would like to get more involved with what I deem as the only hope for this nation--the Constitution Party. I continue to be shocked at the complete disdain our elected officials have toward our Constitution. If we do nothing more than to return this lifeblood document of our nation to the place it belongs--something to be followed, not ignored, nor 'interpreted', then we can begin the long road to regaining all this nation has lost. I am strongly in favor of all 7 core beliefs in particular of the NCCP. I feel privileged and honored to be considered for nomination. Thank you.

At-Large Member Position Information

The Constitution Party of North Carolina is required to have at least one At-Large Member on the State Executive Committee however is allowed under the bylaws to have up to three At-Large Members. In 2010 the At-Large Member elected with the Chairman is up for election. At-Large Members have no specific duties within the Party's State Executive Committee, however they act to weigh in on the issues before the State Executive Committee, vote on Party policy, work on committees among other items, composing an important facet of the State Executive Committee.

I have been Wayne County Director since October of 2009. I am Co-Chairman of the Ballot access committee and State Events Coordinator. I also currently serve as the Assistant Secretary for the State Party.

Why I Am Seeking Office:

To help establish and move forward The Constitution Party of North Carolina as a Political Party and to help keep the foundations of the Constitution Party in tact.
