Voting Requirements

To be eligible to vote in any Party business, in the election of Party Officers or during the Platform Convention on amendments to the State Platform of the Party you must be a Dues-Paid Full Member of the Party by no later than 11:59pm on July 1, 2010. You will be considered a Dues-Paying Full Member of the Party as long as you have either (1) submitted a Full Membership form online and pay through PayPal by the aforementioned deadline, or (2) mail your Full Membership form accompanied with dues payment postmarked by the aforementioned deadline.

Candidate Nomination and Acceptance Requirements

Open Positions to be Elected at the Convention:

State Chairman, State Treasurer and one (1) At-Large Member

Nomination Requirements:

Those who wish to nominate a candidate must be a Dues-Paid Full Member of the Party by no later than 11:59pm on July 1, 2010. You will be considered a Dues-Paying Full Member of the Party as long as you have either (1) submitted a Full Membership form online and pay through PayPal by the aforementioned deadline, or (2) mail your Full Membership form accompanied with dues payment postmarked by the aforementioned deadline.

In order to nominate a candidate for any of the open positions to be elected at the 2010 State Convention, the individual making the nomination must complete a nomination form either online (here) or by printing the form (here) and mailing it in by the deadline specifying the information required on the form.

11:59pm on August 14, 2010. Nominations must either be (1) submitted online by the aforementioned deadline or (2) submitted by mail postmarked by the aforementioned deadline.

Candidate Requirements:

Those who wish to be candidates for open positions on the State Executive Committee must be Dues-Paid Full Member of the Party by no later than 11:59pm on April 1, 2010. You will be considered a Dues-Paying Full Member of the Party as long as you have either (1) submitted a Full Membership form online and pay through PayPal by the aforementioned deadline, or (2) mail your Full Membership form accompanied with dues payment postmarked by the aforementioned deadline.

In order to become a candidate another eligible member must nominate you for a specific position. Once you have been nominated and it is confirmed that you meet the requirements to be a candidate you will be contacted by the appropriate Committee with a Candidate Acceptance Form which must be submitted by the deadline below in order to appear on the election ballot at the State Convention.

11:59pm on August 21, 2010. Candidate acceptance forms must either be (1) submitted online by the aforementioned deadline or (2) submitted by mail postmarked by the aforementioned deadline.
