Congressman Virgil H. Goode received his undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa honor societies. Goode later graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law where he was selected for the Law Review. He also served in the Virginia Army National Guard. At the age of 27, Goode was elected to the Virginia State Senate. In 1996, Goode was elected by the Virginia's 5th Congressional District to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives where he served until 2008. Former Congressman Goode is a strong opponent to Illegal Immigration, NAFTA, and the North American Union. Goode joined the Constituion Party in May of 2010.
Mr. Jim Clymer received his undergraduate degree in History at Millersville University in 1972 and later earned his Juris Doctor in Law from Washburn University School of Law in 1978, graduating with both degrees cum Laude. Clymer is a senior member and manager of a six attorney general practice law firm in Lancaster, PA and has represented a variety of clients in cases dealing with constitutional and religious liberty issues. Jim Clymer has ran for office on two occasions, first as a Libertarian candidate for PA Auditor General in 1992 and then as an independent for Lt. Governor of Pennsylvania in 1994. Clymer currently serves as the Chariman of the Constitution Party National Committee.
Mr. Sean Haugh is the Executive Director of Free & Equal Elections Foundation. As Political Director of the Libertarian Party in 2008, he coordinated petitioning and legal efforts for the party, while sharing resources and building relationships with other Third Parties and Independent candidates. Previously, Haugh has managed three ballot drives for the Libertarians in North Carolina, one of the hardest states in the country to gain ballot access. He was also part of successful lobbying efforts for reform in NC, and is a plaintiff in a current lawsuit seeking further reforms in NC. Haugh is also a member of the National Green Party.
Dr. Ron Baity is the Pastor of Berean Baptist Church, holds both earned and honorary doctrate degrees and has been the Chaplain of the Winston-Salem Police Department since 1992. Dr. Baity also is the President of the Return America organization which networks churches and individuals across North Carolina to stand up for our nation's Judeo-Christian Values. Return America is responsible for bringing over 12,00 people to the Marriage Amendment Rally in Raleigh in 2009. Dr. Baity servces as a Board Member of the United States Motto Action Committee and the North Carolina Christian School Association, resides in Winston-Salem with his wife, Linda M. Baity and has two children, Jeff and Penny.
