Urgent update pertaining to the message below!
All petitions must be turned in to the county office,where they were collected, by July 23, 2008. Anyone helping with these efforts should mail or hand deliver the gathered signatures to the BOE office in their county. A message from our State Party Secretary:
I have attached the Write-In Petition to qualify Chuck Baldwin as a Write-In candidate for President of the United States in the State of NC, in a PDF Format. Please download, print off and get out there and get signatures. The petition PDF file will also eventually be available on the Constitution Party of NC's website.
Remember, we have until August 6, 2008 to obtain 500 signatures for Baldwin. That shouldn't be a problem if we are at all serious about getting a true constitutionalist candidate on the ballot this year, but we still need to have all the petitions turned in at least a week or so in advance, so if you are going to mail them to me to send in, please do so at least two to three weeks early to make sure I get them in time to send them. From my understanding we must send the petitions to their respective county board of elections, not the state board of elections.
I will make sure though to be positive, and let you know later. Lets get to it now!!
